Design Philosophy

The H - 4 connector is a hydraulically operated subsea connector. It connects onto a subsea wellhead profile by dog segments engaged by a cam ring. The connector ensures positive engagement and release using a primary and secondary system. Combined use of the systems produces a releasing force 125% greater than the locking force.
